  20. Neither of those two exist for more than 5 years, so the point is
  21. moot. 10 years ago a UNIX desktop system was just a dream - it was
  22. serial terminals connected to a central big iron all the way.
  23. X on a desktop UNIX workstation was just a dream back then. Dialup
  24. networking via SLIP etc. wasn't invented in 1986 yet.

  26. In those 10 years technology has progressed a lot, unfortunately
  27. human intelligence of the average USA male seems to stay halted at
  28. a prehistorically low level. Most are afraid to use words of 3 syllables
  29. or sentences longer than 10 words. It's a real wonder to me those apes
  30. run the computer industry !!
